Good reveiw,I have 40 miles On mine. All I could do was Ride It home And Had a hard time at that.I went up to test ride the cross country and after I rode the Tour I was sold.I have a Have cast on rigt arm I had to hide it as I was talking to the sales people ,So I could test ride.I tell you about comfort .I ride a Vulcan 900LT. And after riding the vision I learned how great it corners. Also how the windshield worked beter than the LT.I can answer my phone and talk hands free now on a bike.!!! I allways had to pull over. Gps kicks A$$.There is so much more power than the 900LT.And so much I have to wait til spring to figure out because My broken hand .And they just put the Salt Shakers on the road.. It is now winter .Time to read about bike and not ride it. Can't wait to brake it in !!!

I am sorta a new Vision owner. Just bought an '08 SSG Tour Premium still on the MSO. I can't wait for spring to arrive. In the meantime the dealer is holding the bike.

I say I am sorta new because I had another '08 TP in the cherry. It was totalled 05/15/2009 with 2759 miles on it. Some of you may have followed the thread about me on the VMC site.

I am finding some good info here and would like to thank Jedi for creating this site.

GravelFinder, I love that name, what a classic...welcome back to Vision riding. Nothing bad happened while you were on leave. And another SSG member, that's great.

Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself to the site. I've been riding Victor's since 2003 and I am picking up a 2009 Blk Vision tomorrow. I spend more time on the VMC forum (I go by Highwayman there), but I will be looking here for more Vision specific info. From what I have seen in just the few visits, there is some great info here. Looking forward to meeting and riding with some of you this year. Looking at some of the user names, I know many midwest Vision owners here.

ClearVision,

Welcome aboard! I am glad you could find a Vision. My dealer here sells them as fast as he gets them....and lately he is not getting them very fast from Victory.

Please let us know if you have any questions about your new ride.

Ride Safe!

Hi all, I'm not one for small talk but if I have a question or comment I'll speak up. I just got my 2010 White Vision this weekend, traded in my 07 Wing for it. So far I'm not sorry, it's not as quick as my Wing was but it feels more stable at parking lot speeds. Anyway, just wanted you to know who's lurking in the background .

bamavizn and NightFlyer,

Welcome one and all!

Bamavizn, where are you located and how long have you owned the 2008 Vision?

NightFlyer,

If you want most of that power back....Get the stage 2 cams, fuel controller and air intake mods done by KevinX. It makes the Vision a real strong competitor.

Ride Safe!

You guys are more then welcome to join in the conversation.

Great site! I picked up an '08 vision street premium that had been repoed in CA, then wholesaled up here in WA for $14,500 with 5800 miles on it around last Thanksgiving. The economy, dontchaknow. I got a little over 8,000 on it now. It has the Level 2 exhaust and the reflash, it doesn't pop too bad. Man, I got to say, I hate that thing! All I want to do is ride it, so nuthin' else is gettin' done! Especially now as it's our (for us) dry season up here. It's even got me blogging at work, for crying out loud.

I was on my second Yamaha Venture with Vmax cams/kit, and it was faster by a large margin, but you can't beat the legroom on a Vision. I splay out like a teenager on the telephone. Going down these Olympic Peninsula roads when the turns come, I just dial in a little more opposite lock and I can't believe I've never scraped a board. I was sick and tired of the front air forks on the Yamaha, too, so the relative simplicity of the Victory was a major selling point.

Inexpensive, exclusive, reasonably speedy and uber comfortable, with much appreciated heated grips and seats. Unbelievable. I rode the Ventures for 21 years, this Victory might be the one to last the next 30. I bought my '74 Norton new and still have it, so it's hard for me to pick a scoot worth hanging on to, but this one...yeah baby!

Now-about that stereo...

Rainryder, glad to hear you are enjoying your Vision. If you want to really feel a difference in power look into getting the Lloyds cams and fuel controller, just had my 08 done and it's like a whole different bike.

Enjoy your ride and be safe.

New to the site. Bought my 2011 pearl white Vision in October.
I chose the white Vision because I wanted to be different from everyone else riding a black Harley.
Great site, lots of helpful info.

Hola Vision Riders.
I have been hanging out and reading for well over a year, test rode a Vision about 3 years ago and fell in love with it at that time. Finally pulled the trigger, 2012 Bronze Mist and FREAKIN' Love It. I love the input that everyone gives and the knowledge that is shared about these wonderful bikes... I only have about 500 miles, weather has been so-so here in the mountains. I look forward to racking up the miles and would welcome anyone to come a ride at the highe elevations. Thanks and ride safe.

What's up from SD.
New to the forum. Just kicked up my Vic about 2 weeks ago. Still breaking it in and loving every minute of it. I love my vision. I have not seen another vision here at all. Every where I go people just stare and try to figure out what it is. I hope to run. Into other vision riders here in SD. I am retired Navy CPO and now a contractor with the Navy. I've had sport bikes all my life and just sold them to get the king of the road. Keep the shiney side up.

Hello fellow Vision riders. My name is Sean and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I just bought a 2012 Vision Tour (blue and silver) yesterday and so far I'm very happy with it. I can't wait to take my first long road trip.

a lot of new people that has only posted once to say hi. Welcome to one and all and I say howdy back at you. Now, jump in the pool and make a few post, what do you think of your bike, what trips you've made so far, even if its to the corner store, and post some pics and the newest member of your fleet. Don't be a stranger...
